PIECES OF A DREAM

The main purpose of this website is not just about me, it is about photography, it is about my photo-books, it is about any forthcoming promotions and upcoming exhibitions. I love art in all of its various guises but I seriously dislike all the pretention behind art and to that end, I lead by example – I do this by (a) not pretending to know more than I really do, (b) by not trying to be someone that I am not, (c) by not selling my artwork at crazy or mad prices for I see no point in having a £000 price tag if no one can afford or buys your work, so all of my work is priced at production costs of the final (unframed) prints plus a modest artistic fee with the smallest images (approx. A3 in size) starting at just £50 plus postage.

 

I want my work to be seen, to be admired and praised but most of all I want you to own a copy and be proud of it. Profits from nearly all of my work helps me to self-fund future trips around the world and when I travel, I always try to give my local communities something back – this can range from simple things like teaching local kids in the Philippines how to repair or make bikes to ride on from locally sourced materials through to teaching partially sighted and blind children in India how to use a camera and take photographs using a game I developed when I use to teach Special Educational Needs in the UK.

 

This site has no electronics sales or baskets as I would like some interaction with my customers, so I ask all who wish to purchase my work, simply put finger to screen/keyboard and email me your requests and that all your payments are made through PAYPAL or direct bank transfer payments – details in the contact file. I am more than able to respond to my messages and do so when in the UK, quite quickly. When I am out of the UK, I can still organise sales and have work delivered to almost any address in the world but for simplicity, I will post an out of office notice on the home page as I really do prefer to deal with my customers and not just rely on electronic sales. I would like your visit to my site to be one that is free from electronic frustration.
